I wish I could give this movie a zero. It does not even deserve a one.

The entire movie is a rip off of other possession/exorcism movies. It'sevident that whoever wrote and directed this movie did not have onecreative bone in their body. It's almost as if the people behind thissat down, Streaminged any exorcism based movie they could find. And justtook bits and pieces. It's a Frankenstein of a movie and I really wishthis monster hadn't come to life.

The acting is completely awful, I hope the actors (other than Trejo orRoberts) have a day job because acting shouldn't be it. Even the mostdie hard of Trejo fans would have trouble Streaminging this movie. If youlike B movies this isn't for you. This is more a D- movie.

Whoever wrote the dialogue was trying way to hard to be witty. Thedialogue felt forced and unnatural. Streaminging it I wasn't sure if it wasmeant to be funny or taken seriously. I still really don't, but I hopeit isn't the latter.

What is probably the most unbearable part of the movie is knowing thatsomeone invested 4 million on this cliché infested movie. I've eatenalphabet soup that was more original than this film. Where was thatmoney? The graphics were decent, but no where near worth 4 mill. It hadto go somewhere, and something tells me it wasn't the movie.

I know this may seem harsh, but I try my best to support indiefilmmakers and indie actors. They are some of the best in the business.Indie filmmakers are one of the things keeping the horror industryalive, an industry focusing on what will sell and not what willwithstand the test of time. This movie was not a part of that. So toknow that this money could of gone to people with actual talent or atleast a half baked original idea is a crime.

The only way I would recommend this movie is if you're out of ipecacand need to vomit.

I only bothered to write thisreview as like those God bothers that come knocking on ourdoors.....I'm trying to save you! This is crap on every level.... Cameovirtually from Danny Treo.... Talk about wooden.....The guy playing themain priest shouldn't be allowed in a Ronald McDonald suit to act letalone be given lines to mono tone out! It never got better........Weakstory....poor effects...... It was like I really believed the 10 starreview from the previous reviewer and really was waiting for it tochange but he plain out lied! Even crap would rate this as Crap! Areyou getting the picture? Don't torture yourself with this complete wastof electricity..... Talk about a wast of all their resources & MY TIME!The previous reviewer was either bribed, part of the crew or just plainretarded to believe this was even worth writing about. Tenstars.........You got to be **** kidding! We best never listen tohim/her AGAIN!

I Streaminged this because Danny Trejo and Eric Roberts are in it. It's notlike these two are master thespians or anything, but I find themlikable enough, even in B movies. ("B" as in "low Budget" or just plain"Bad".) Trejo and Roberts have small parts, with screen time probablytotaling less than 10 minutes between them. Eric Roberts seems to besleepwalking, stoned, or both. The rest of the cast are unrelentinglyhorrible, either chewing the scenery or mumbling like blocks of woodblessed with the gift of speech.

The dialog is stilted, juvenile, and lacks both wit and sense. Theplot, involving a secret society of exorcists battling demons, is inaneand vacuous. This idea has been done before a few times: Constantine2005, Hellboy 2004, The Ninth Gate 1999, for example. All of these,although there is not a masterpiece among them, are infinitely betterthan this poor offering.

The special effects are incredibly bad, something that is pretty hardto achieve with today's cheap computer graphic technology. It is oftenimpossible to tell what is supposed to be going on with all the randomflashes of colored light and moving shots of geological formations. Thecamera work is amazingly unskillful. In one of Eric Roberts' fewscenes, he's talking to a priest whose head is out of frame at eyelevel.

I wish there were something positive I could say about The Cloth. Oh...there is something; it put my wife, who has been suffering frominsomnia recently, to sleep.
